Video Tribute Released to Commemorate the Anniversary of Michael Jackson's Death
June 26, 2011 /Music PR News/ -- Michael Jackson tribute video "Tha King A Pop" has been released on YouTube by LA hip hop singer, DropZ. The video commemorates the anniversary of Michael Jackson's death on June 25th, 2009. "Tha King A Pop" is a musical biography of the life of Michael Jackson.
"It's the only song out there ABOUT Michael Jackson," says DropZ about his song "Tha King A Pop".
"Most tributes about MJ are folks singin' Michael's songs and sayin 'here's a Michael Jackson song and here's how I sing it'. That's all good, cuz we love hearin' Michael's songs, but I wanted to do somethin' different and original to honor Michael, cuz Michael was all about bein' different and original and ground-breakin'," explains the hip hop artist.
DropZ's videos for his latest hip hop songs"Laideez" and "Booty Quake" are also available on his website. "Laideez" features the talented Cirque de Soleil dancers, and "Booty Quake" features Nashville's most talented dancers and professional "booty shakers". Both "Laideez" and "Booty Quake" are club-bangers that get the booties shakin' with beats by legendary Nashville producer Bar None of the New Age Hustle Coalition. The "Booty Quake" video is introduced by Nashville's top mix-master DJ Wheezy of World Star Hip Hop fame.
