A Music Fusion Experience from Aquavine's Album
A connoisseur of sounds, Aquavine, serves it hot and fresh in his album Dryad.
HUNGTINGTON BEACH, CA, June 29, 2011 /Music PR News/ -- With technological advances coming to us in lightning speed, sometimes it's hard to catch up. In music, many artists have started to embrace new technologies to experiment and enhance their sound. One such connoisseur is AQUAvine.
AQUAvine aka Wesley Bowers is an American synth-pop, new wave, and indie singer-songwriter born and raised in Utah. His musicality first appeared while attending James E. Moss Elementary in Salt Lake City. He joined the men's choir during his junior year in high school until he dropped out of the group to pursue film making in his senior year. This was also the beginning of AQUAvine discovering that he could also write songs using a keyboard and a Midi program. Feeling a bit constrained with this format, he experimented on other digital audio programs. He managed to produce a few songs using FL Studio and released them on Sony's AcidPlanet.com and indie music site SoundClick.com.
After graduating from high school in 2006, AQUAvine moved to Saint George, Utah. His songwriting began to flourish. The next year he moved yet again, this time to Mesa, Arizona to enter college. In 2007, while studying he worked on songs and released his debut album 'Hail AQUAvine' via CDBaby. He caught the attention of the fashionistas in college and his songs, which he dubbed as 'a medley of genres from folk, to electronic to new age and indie', were used for several fashion shows.
On Valentine's Day 2008, AQUAvine was gracious enough to let the public download compilation titled 'Offerings' as a free digital album. He then returned to Salt Lake City and entered the workforce. But fate has other plans for him. In 2010, AQUAvine was contacted by JMD Records and was signed for the company to distribute, promote, and release his third album 'Dryad'. AQUAvine is currently collaborating with Salt Lake City's rap artist Lav!sh for a few tracks on her upcoming album.
If you want music that's a fusion of a multitude of genres and it can't really be pegged in just one category, listen to AQUAvine. Download his album 'Dryad' at iTunes distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group).
