HORN THEATRE, College Of Southern Nevada, 3200 East Cheyenne Ave., North Las Vegas, NV. 89030. John Wackerman Drum Festival is an amazing event for drummers, musicians and music fans alike. Not only will attendees of the show be able to see the performances and hear these talented musicians discuss their craft but also fans will be able to ask questions and get answers from the best drummers and musicians at the top of their game.

The festival's lineup consists of;
Chester Thompson
- Played with Genesis for 30+ years and on various sessions from Weather Report to Frank Zappa.
Thomas Pridgen
- Won the Guitar Center "Drum-Off" at age 9.
- Been voted "Best Up and Coming Drummer" by Modern Drummer Magazine.
- Best known for playing with The Mars Volta Band and his new group, The Memorials.
Christopher "Kit" Chatham
- Featured percussionist and percussion manager for the critically acclaimed show, Cyberjam, performing in London's West End.
- Currently the percussionist for the newest Cirque du Soleil creation, Viva Elvis.
Dennis Chambers
- Has recorded and performed with John Scofield, George Duke, Brecker Brothers, Parliament/Funkadelic, John McLaughlin, Niacin, and Mike Stern.
- Currently playing with the Grammy award winning band Santana.
Chad Wackerman
- Best known for his work as a drummer in Frank Zappa's band.
- Played with the Australian rock act Men at Work and on the platinum selling "One Voice" album with Barbra Streisand.
- Recorded albums and toured with artists such as Allan Holdsworth, Steve Vai, Andy Summers, Ed Mann, Albert Lee, Colin Hay, and Dweezil Zappa.
- Currently playing with James Taylor and is brother to John.
Allan Holdsworth
- An English guitarist and composer, twelve studio albums.
- Cited by many rock and instrumental guitarists as being an influence, to such renowned names as Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Greg Howe, Shawn Lane, Richie Kotzen, John Petrucci and many others.
- Frank Zappa once called Holdsworth "one of the most interesting guys on guitar on the planet".
Jimmy Johnson
- Best known for his work with James Taylor, Allan Holdsworth, Lee Ritenour, Flim & the BB's, Ray Charles, Rod Stewart, and Al Jarreau.

ABOUT JOHN WACKERMAN:
John Wackerman, best known for playing drums with Maynard Ferguson, Lindsey Buckingham, Kazumi Watanabe, numerous TV/film appearances (Megan Mullaly, Spinal Tap, Comic Strip Live and One Tree Hill). He has authored numerous books on playing drums, filmed DVD's on the subject and has played and written drum duets with over two dozen famous drummers like Steve Gadd(Eric Clapton), Taylor Hawkins(Foo Fighters), Peter Erskine(Weather Report), Travis Barker(Blink 182),Steve Smith(Journey),Clayton Cameron(Tony Bennet),Adrian Young(No Doubt) and Gene Hoglan(Fear Factory) to name a few. .
