Adrian Edward Produces New Video Using Only Fans
Independent musician Adrian Edward is producing a video for his single "Always On My Mind" but the actors used in this video will be clips sent in by fans instead of traditional actors.
BROOKLYN, NY, February 19, 2010 /Music PR News/ -- Independent musician Adrian Edward is producing a video for his single "Always On My Mind" but the actors used in this video will be clips sent in by fans instead of traditional actors.
The song, which is the title track from Adrian Edward's latest release, Always on My Mind, will feature video clips of fans lip-syncing the song and then edited together. With clips already sent from all over the world, the video is well on it's way to completion for the expected release date of Feb 25.
"I wanted to find a way to thank the fans in a very personal way and including them in the video was the most personal way I could think of" said Adrian Edward, when asked why he was making the video in this way rather than a traditional music video.
Usually associated with major label funding and big budgets, this project is no small task and will require hours of editing and footage. An enthusiastic fan has already offered to edit the video and offered his services to the project. "I thought it was an amazing idea for an indie artist to try and I wanted to be a part of it and help out in any way I can", described editor T.J. Stone.
The final video, which will be posted on AdrianEdward.com and YouTube, is part of a larger series of works that include fan participation. Independent musicians and artists are always seeking new ways to reach out to fans in a personal and sincere way that major labels cannot do. Adrian Edward says, "This video is an attempt to do just that."
